Hello November!

I can't believe how quickly this year and semester are flying by! 2 out of 3 midterms behind me, just need to take the final one today which is going to be a piece of cake. Taking Communications as a minor was the best decision i made, it's enjoyable, useful in everyday life, and just fits my personality perfectly. So, bring on the last midterm ;). 

Also, I came up with an amazing idea for the powerpoint presentation I have to make with my New Media group. Very creative, I just hope that it works according to my plan. Virtual reality is an exceptionally creative topic in itself so we will be covering the most interesting inventions and news on the topic. It's definitely a topic that's moving fast with technology and I want to incorporate some fun props :).

Hello Again!

Hello Again!

Today, I have my first speech presentation in my Communication for Executives class! I'm sooo nervous! The plus side to this presentation is that we get to present as the CEO's of the current company we work for. I'm exposed to a lot of the CEO's daily business operations at my firm so getting into character shouldn't be too difficult (I hope?) ;/. It's always nerve-wracking to talk in front of an audience, good thing my classmates are very laid-back. My presentation starts in: 2.5 hours. HELP :(

I wanted to start Twitting today, but that website is down for maintenance!

Just my luck. I will have to start tomorrow. So many things to keep track of now... and I thought Facebook and Blackberry Messenger activities we're keeping me busy! Maybe, I can figure out how to link them together so I only have to post a status in one place and it can get updated throughout all these sites... hmm... I'm sure there's a way.

With some Googling - anything is possible! (haha)

Hello World!

Today, I shall start blogging!

I had a fantastic weekend! I went into the city with my friend Paula to celebrate my cousins 27th birthday! We were rushing to catch the train and just made it with half a minute to spare, when I realized I left the card and gift at home! Typical me. Always in a rush. :( . When we got to her apartment we headed out to dinner right away and it was going to be my first experience with soup dumplings. I know what you're thinking--dumplings in soup, right? Nope! That's what I thought until I saw them and what it is is a dumpling full of soup inside. A nice little flavorfully delicious surprise. They were amazing! We ended the night on the rooftop terrace taking in the beautiful view of NYC. And now... a busy week of school and work starts again!
